Oct 23 -2010    QBF Student Bobby Peters, Cool Under Pressure

Bobby Peters - Marmion QB Sr - 2010/2011 Bobby Peters - Marmion Academy Bobby Peters working the Buring Cross Drill with Coach Gregory

Bobby Peters has been the starting QB for the College Prep, Marmion Academy HS Cadets

for the past two seasons.  This year he is accompanied with an All State running back and an

offensive line that averages 270lbs. Regardless of his tremendous supporting cast, he is still

the guy that touches the ball every snap, and thus one of the main reason the Fighting Cadets

are State Ranked and finishing the regular season with an outstanding 8-1 record.  Bobby has

been one of the hardest working QBF students over the past 10 years.  His commitment to

learning the position and understanding his position and role has always been from an

educated X's & O's approach.  Congratulations Bobby for a great Sr year regular season.

Best of luck in the Play-offs.    Beacon New Article - Click Here

Layne Moore - Lafayette, IN 8th Grader - All American

Oct 15 -2010     Indiana 8th Grader, Layne Moore, Throws for 2583 Yards, 33 TD's

With 1 game still remaining in the 2010 football season 8th grader Layne Moore has lit up the sky

                           with 2583 yards passing, 33 TD's / 8-int's, and is currently 7-2-1.  Last years selected 12/13

year old All American seems to continue to get better each year.   When it comes to training

during the off season and staying focused on his quarterback goals, very few students will out

work this QB. Congratulations Layne on another fantastic year

Oct 1 - 2010       To all skeptics who think Matt LaCosse is only an "athlete" and not a True Quarterback

                            .....Think again.

When the 6' 7"- 228lb QB is given the opportunity to throw,...he looks like a quarterback,...a very good

quarterback.  Ask Naperville Central's players and coaches if he looked like a quarterback during week

6 of this 2010 season.  He lead his team with key passing, ran like a tailback with huge runs, was extremely

tough near the goal line and again,....he threw the ball very well. He was a tremendous leader on the field.
